LOCATION

Based in Pembrokeshire after relocating from London in 2002 we continue to undertake all sizes of contracts in London and the South East as well as South Wales. We will also consider commissions in other areas and abroad.

OUR CREDENTIALS

Shani Lawrence Garden Designs was established by Shani Lawrence in 1997. Daniel Jackson was made a partner in 2007 bringing a knowledge of construction and hard landscaping. We are a professional member of the Henry Doubleday Research Association and follow their organic guidelines.

Shani Lawrence BSc Envi Sci, Cert GD
After completing her Environmental Science degree, Shani worked for two environmental consultancies before deciding to combine her interests in ecology and horticulture with a love of creativity and drawing. Shani completed the Garden Design Certificate at Merrist Wood Agricultural College in 1996 and joined Woodcote Green Nurseries – one of the UK’s most progressive nurseries. In 2000 Shani designed an award-winning garden court ‘Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder’ at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for Woodcote Green Nurseries. In 2001 Shani designed the ‘The Princess and the Frog’ garden court, which was awarded Best Small Garden in Show and the Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal.

Daniel Jackson
Daniel was made a partner in 2007. Daniel is now involved in all aspects of the design consultancy, specialising in hard landscaping specification and consultation advice.
