We are happy to tailor any of our services to meet your individual requirements. The following service packages are available for your convenience.

DESIGN

For clients who:

• already have a landscaper contractor
• intend to do much of the landscaping themselves or
• want to oversee the landscaping themselves.

This package includes the design process with a listing of local landscapers who you may wish to contact for any assistance with implementation of the design.

Step 1: Initial consultation, portfolio overview and questionnaire

This stage allows our designer to view your garden and get to know your requirements. After the initial consultation a quotation is sent to you confirming all the details discussed and the design fees; an acceptance slip must be completed prior to the commencement of design works.

Step 2: Survey of the garden

This stage provides an accurate assessment of your garden including:

• soil samples
• aspect
• plant listings and
• level and distance measurements taken usually with a digital level.

Step 3: Draft design consultation

We will present you with two layout plans and discuss both with you. You will then choose the preferred option.

Step 4: Final design drawing and consultation including presentation with final design concept drawing.

You will receive:

• a design concept drawing to scale
• a 3D sketch or colour drawing of the design (optional)
• planting plan and
• specifications (detailed information to enable successful construction of the design).

You are now ready to implement your garden design. You can choose to do some or all of the work yourself, contact a local landscaper or we are happy to offer implementation and planting assistance for you. We can also provide you with a maintenance plan.

Design by post

For the smaller garden, we offer a postal design service. We will send you a comprehensive self-survey pack that includes soil sample containers and advice on how to take basic site measurements. We then complete draft designs for your approval before we draw up the final design.

DESIGN AND HELP WITH IMPLEMENTATION

Suitable for clients who want a complete design service and assistance with implementation. This includes all the services listed above plus varying degrees of project management and on-site assistance – the level of which is determined at the initial consultation. We are happy to involve your landscaper contractor throughout the process.

WILDLIFE GARDEN SERVICE

We offer a service specializing in wildlife design, organic principles and sustainable product sourcing. The service will follow the same format as the general design service. However, the contents will be tailored differently:

• planting plans will be designed to encourage wildlife
• features will be wildlife friendly as well as aesthetically pleasing
• datasheets will include organic advice and maintenance plans
• products will be from sustainable sources.

SCHOOL GROUNDS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS

We undertake design of school grounds and community projects including fruit and vegetable areas, woodlands, ponds and wild flower areas. We run courses and workshops tailored to the groups’ needs.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

In addition, we can provide services such as:

• material cost estimates
• maintenance plans
• working drawings, elevations, sketches and section drawings
• additional copies of plans/colour copies
• assistance with planning enquiries
• watercolour or pastel sketches of the garden design
• planting contracts
• sourcing of unusual furniture, sculpture and garden ornamentation.
